Your imaginary figure and trying circle composition of figure and this photo also not good because of flash light, your figure shows your own composition and posing which your experiment for own image,
color is pale then you need something to show strongly show figure so used line for some place to make more strong for body line, it's good.

Your design of canvas is interesting and it is more graphical idea and design but has nice composition and color, dark color of shape works good to show warm colors and symbolic sun makes more story inside.
